FFNick is a fan-made nickname tool for Garena Free Fire and Free Fire MAX players and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Garena. Game names and trademarks belong to their owners, and every “works in game” note here is a dated observation, not a promise from the game.

FFNick disclaimer: fan-made Free Fire nickname tool, not affiliated with Garena

Not affiliated with Garena or Free Fire

FFNick is an independent, fan-made website with no business relationship with Garena, the publisher of Free Fire and Free Fire MAX. It is not an official Garena product, not a partner site and not approved by Garena, and nothing here should be read as Garena’s view.

That has one practical consequence: FFNick has no access to any game account. We cannot rename a player, reserve a name, restore a deleted one or say in advance whether a name will be accepted — only the game decides that. Who runs the site and how its lists are counted is set out on the about us page.

Trademarks and brand names

Free Fire, Free Fire MAX and Garena are trademarks of Garena International, and every other game, app or streamer brand mentioned belongs to its own owner. FFNick uses these names only to describe what its nicknames are for, and uses no official logo, character art or in-game asset. The FFNick name and the site’s own text, design and images belong to FFNick.

Streamer-style pages show how a well-known name pattern is built, so you can make your own in the same style. They are not the streamers’ real in-game names and are not endorsed by them.

“Works in game” is an observation, not a guarantee

When a page on FFNick says a character or name works in Free Fire, it means it was seen to work on the OB version and date given next to it — nothing more. Garena does not publish its list of accepted characters, and it can change the name filter with any update.

What works in game means on FFNick: Free Fire name rules can change with any update
  • Free Fire is on OB55 as of 16 September 2026, and our in-game notes refer to that version unless they say otherwise.
  • Anything not re-checked on the current version is marked “verify”. Paste the name into the rename field and check how it looks before you confirm a paid change.
  • A name that shows boxes on your phone may be fine in the game and simply missing a font on your device, or the reverse.

How names are reviewed and when a result counts as tested is explained in the editorial policy.

Your account and the name you choose

You choose the name on your account and you are responsible for it. FFNick is not responsible for a warning, a forced rename, a ban or any other action Garena takes on an account because of a name copied from this site, or for a Name Change Card or diamonds spent on a name the game later refuses.

Before you use a name, make sure it follows Garena’s own rules and does not copy another player’s identity. The wider limits of our liability are set out in the terms and conditions.

Names submitted by other players

Names that visitors submit or copy into the public lists are the responsibility of the people who sent them. FFNick reviews submitted names before they appear and removes names that break its rules, but a listed name is not a statement by FFNick and does not mean the name belongs to anyone in particular.

If a listed name uses your real name, your gamer tag or your brand, or is offensive, ask for it to be removed through our contact, terms, privacy and DMCA details; you do not need to explain why.

What FFNick never does

FFNick never asks for your Free Fire ID, password, one-time code or payment, and never offers diamonds, top-ups, hacks, mods or files to download. A site or message claiming to be FFNick that asks for any of these is not us.
